Properties and Applications:  brown. Soluble in water for brown, and adequate soluble in ethanol, slightly soluble in soluble fiber element, insoluble in other organic solvents. The strong sulfuric acid to red light purple to purple, diluted to dark brown for olive; In nitric acid solution for wine, and then into a yellow brown. The dye solution to join strong hydrochloric acid have yellow brown to olive precipitation; Add thick sodium hydroxide solution for orange brown.
