Properties and Applications: dark red light brown. Soluble in hot water for yellow red, slightly soluble in alcohol for the color red. In concentrated sulfuric acid for cherry red, dilution after brown solution, and then appear brown precipitation; In concentrated nitric acid for yellow brown solution; In concentrated hydrochloric acid partly dissolved; In a dilute sodium hydroxide solution for brown solution.
