Properties and Applications: Blue light grey. Soluble in water into wine red to blue light red, slightly soluble in alcohol, not soluble in Acetone. In concentrated sulfuric acid to red light purple, diluted into red orange brown. Dye aqueous solution to join concentrated hydrochloric acid for red wheat brown; Join concentrated sodium hydroxide solution for purple.
