Manufacturing Methods : 8-Amino-4-hydroxynaphthalene-2-sulfonic acid diazotization, and 8-Aminonaphthalene-2-sulfonic acid coupling, product to diazotization, in alkaline condition and 6-Amino-4-hydroxynaphthalene-2-sulfonic acid coupling.

Properties and Applications: blue black (dichromate treatment). Soluble in water for purple black, not soluble in ethanol. In concentrated sulfuric acid to green light blue, dilution after red light blue. Dye aqueous solution to join concentrated hydrochloric acid have red light blue precipitation; Join concentrated sodium hydroxide solution for red light blue, precipitation.
