Manufacturing Methods : (a) 1,4-Diamino-2,3-dihydroanthraquinone in the presence of sulfuric acid in chlorine, with methanol for methylation;
(b) 1,4-Dihydroxyanthracene-9,10-dione with ammonia and Methanamine, processing and oxidation.
Properties and Applications: bright blue purple. Soluble in acetone and benzene, slightly soluble in ethanol, insoluble in linseed oil. The strong sulfuric acid for brown, diluted in red. And C.I.Solvent Violet 12 learn the same structure.
