Manufacturing Methods :(a) 1,4,5,8-Tetrahydroxyanthracene-9,10-dione in a small amount of insurance the presence of powder with 2-Aminoethanol condensation, Then the ammonia and boric acid or sodium hydroxide or oxidized in the presence piperidine; (b) 1,4,5,8-Tetrahydroxyanthracene-9,10-dione in ethanol with 2-Aminoethanol condensation, then will product oxidation.

Properties and Applications:brilliant green blue. Soluble in acetone, ethanol, Carbon tetrachloride and Cellosole, slightly soluble in benzene and Flaxseed oil. In concentrated sulfuric acid for dark blue light red, after dilution for cobalt blue.. Used for cellulose acetate, polystyrene and other plastic coloring.
