Properties and Applications: gray needle crystal, melting point 194 ℃ (breakdown). Soluble in hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid, soluble in ethanol and aether, slightly soluble in water. Mainly used for the cotton fabric dyeing and printing, also can be used for silk, viscose, polyamide fiber fabric dyeing, but also as a quick pigment and other dye intermediates.
