Manufacturing Methods : 2,5-Diethoxybenzenamine and Benzoyl chloride condensation, and then nitration and reduction (BIOS 1149).
Properties and Applications: light grey or off-white powder, melting point of 98 ~ 100 ℃. Insoluble in water, but soluble in rare hydrochloric acid, also soluble in pyridine, ethanol, and other organic solvent, has the characteristics of general amine class. Mainly used for the cotton fabric dyeing and printing, also can be used in viscose fiber and silk dyeing. Suitable for the dye printing, dyeing use less alone, not easy to discharge. Cotton dyeing with phenol AS color, AS-D coupled dyed dark blue, and the color of phenol AS-BO coupled with navy deep, and the color of phenol AS-OL, AS-BS, AS-SW coupled dye red light navy.
