Manufacturing Methods : 4-(Dimethylamino)benzoyl chloride and N-methyl-N-phenylbenzenamine (2 Moore) condensation, Disulfonated and its product, and converted to the sodium salt.

Properties and Applications: red light blue. Soluble in water for blue, slightly soluble in ethanol to blue. The strong sulfuric acid in orange, diluted into blue. Add sodium hydroxide in aqueous solution for colorless.
