Properties and Applications:  red. Soluble in water for red, soluble in ethanol for orange red. In the strong sulfuric acid as dark blue, diluted into red. In water solution to join strong hydrochloric acid by brown orange into palm red; Add thick sodium hydroxide solution for purplish red color.
