Manufacturing Methods : 3-Aminonaphthalene-1,5-disulfonic acid diazo, and Naphthalen-1-amine coupling, again diazo, and 8-Aminonaphthalene-2-sulfonic acid coupling, product to diazo, in alkaline conditions and 6-Amino-4-hydroxynaphthalene-2-sulfonic acid  coupling, and then diazo, and 6-Hydroxynaphthalene-2-sulfonic acid coupling.

Properties and Applications:  blue ash. Dark grey powder. Soluble in water as dark blue, soluble in ethanol. The strong sulfuric acid dyes for violet black, diluted into dark purple. The dye solution to join strong hydrochloric acid tresses, precipitation; Add thick still as dark blue sodium hydroxide solution, but have precipitation. Water-soluble general, sensitive to that fights. In dyeing copper and iron ion colored light basic unchanged. Used for cotton, viscose and their blended fabric and silk of dyeing and printing, also used in leather and paper color. Can and dispersal dyes with bath of high temperature on polyester/cotton blended fabric dyeing.
