Properties and Applications: blue. Soluble in water for purple, slightly soluble in alcohol. The strong sulfuric acid for blue, purple precipitation after diluted. The dye solution to join strong hydrochloric acid have blue purple precipitation; Add thick sodium hydroxide solution have dark purple precipitation.
