Properties and Applications: red. Soluble in water for big red, soluble in ethanol. The strong sulfuric acid for purple, diluted red orange for brown. The dye solution to join strong hydrochloric acid have orange brown precipitation; Sodium hydroxide solution with thick red precipitate.
