Manufacturing Methods :(a) 4-(Dimethylamino)benzaldehyde (1 Moore) and 3-(Ethyl(phenyl)amino)methyl)benzenesulfonic acid (2 Moore) condensation, will product oxidation, and translated into sodium salt;

(b) 3-(Ethyl(phenyl)amino)methyl)benzenesulfonic acid (2 Moore) and Formaldehyde  condensation, and then in N,N-dimethylaniline exist under the oxidation.

Properties and Applications: bright blue purple. For purple is soluble in water, soluble in ethanol for purple. The strong sulfuric acid in orange, diluted in red. The dye solution to join sodium hydroxide have dark precipitation. And C.I.Acid Violet 49 the same chemical structure.
