Properties and Applications: blue light red. Soluble in water for red, slightly soluble in ethanol for magenta. In concentrated sulfuric acid for blue, red after diluted. Dye solution to join concentrated hydrochloric acid to red; Join concentrated sodium hydroxide solution for purple.
