Manufacturing Methods : excessive amounts of N,N-dimethyl-4-nitrosobenzenamine and Methyl 3,4,5-trihydroxybenzoate reaction.
Properties and Applications: dark blue purple. Soluble in water (for red light purple) and ethanol (for blue purple). In concentrated sulfuric acid for Daisy blue, dilution after magenta. Dye aqueous solution with sodium hydroxide with brown precipitation, excessive dissolved after precipitation for purple solution.
