Manufacturing Methods : C.I. Basic Red 9 (by (a) 4-(4-Aminobenzyl)benzenamine and aniline, aniline hydrochloride, 1-Nitrobenzene and Ferric chloride in 170 ℃ heating hours; (b) aniline, p-Methylaniline and Triethylamine hydrochloride and Iron or Ferrous chloride and Nitrobenzene heating; (C)  aniline, p-Methylaniline with a mixture of Arsenic acid, hemihydrate oxidation; (d) aniline and Methane, tetrachloro – heating and) with excess m-Toluidine Benzoic acid in the presence of in 180 ~ 185 ℃ heating 1.5 ~ 2 hours.

Properties and Applications:brilliant blue. Used in printing ink, carbon, ball-point pen ink color, etc.
