Properties and Applications:dark blue light red to dark red light purple. From ethanol to crystallize in the product is golden needle crystal, melting point 185.5 ℃ soluble in ethanol, acetone and toluene. In concentrated sulfuric acid to red light blue, dilution after magenta to red solution, there are red brown precipitation; In concentrated sodium hydroxide solution insoluble.
