Manufacturing Methods :  6-Bromo-4-methylbenzo[b]thiophen-3(2H)-one {the carboxy amide route (FIAT1313, 2192) or with Herz chlorinated sulfur method (FIAT 764-PB 25626, fr. 2069) made} oxidation.

Properties and Applications:  bright blue light pink to red colourful blue-ray. pink powder. Insoluble in water, Etanol and Acetone, soluble in Xylene, a yellow light red fluorescent. The strong sulfuric acid for red, then turned green and red after diluted; In nitric acid for red; In alkaline insurance powder solution for yellow; In the acidic insurance powder solution for colorless.
